TotalEnergies Cambodia is working with a local Cambodian partner to develop two stand alone solar based micro0grids to supply electricity to businesses and residents, on the island of Koh Rong Sanloem​

The island is totally off-rid and a fast developing into a tourism destination. ​

Due to the complexity of the project, TotalEnergies ran a number of models for sola and storage sizing to workout the optimum sized hybrid system. ​

TotalEnergies, VET, and our selected EPC are working closely with the Royal Government of Cambodia to showcase this hybrid project as a world leader in sustainable tourism. ​
